An update on the June Horse Trials.
Plantation Field is beautifully green and ready for the return of eventing. We are busily making plans for the June Horse Trials to occur under all of the current USEF guidelines for Safety and Social Distancing. A complete list of Plantation Field’s policies and procedures will be posted next week.
However, we also want to be realistic and share with our Competitors where things stand. As of today, May 15th, Chester County is currently under the Pennsylvania "Red Zone" designation, which is basically Stay at Home orders. As you all know, the plans for reopening, and lifting of restrictions, vary area by area, and are changing daily! Although the County is still listed as Red, this morning the Governor said that additional counties will be moving to Yellow fairly shortly. We therefore do not want to make a decision until the very last moment.
And in an effort to provide ample space for everyone to distance from each other, we are exploring the option of running Intermediate, Preliminary, and some Training divisions on Friday June 5. The remaining Training, Novice and Beginner Novice will still run Saturday. And the Starter HT on Sunday will remain as scheduled. Please let us know if you are unable to ride on Friday. We wanted to give you time to adjust your plans accordingly.
